The fabric I was also surprised by, i thought it was more like a linen but it is more like polyester and it feels so light and way more expensive than the photos make it look. The length is great also, I was afraid it would be too long but it comes to my ankle so I can wear sandals or heels. The body of the dress does not fit too oversized, I was concerned with a medium it might be frumpy. It is so perfect and lightweight enough for the summer heat. Technically in this I sized up one, as I am usually a small in dresses, so I would say size up one or go with your normal size if you are not worried about the top squeezing.
